Service & Mission American Lutheran reaches out to people of our congregation, community and world in many ways. We share the Good News of salvation through missionaries in Papua, New Guinea; Nigeria, Africa; Mission Aviation Fellowship in various countries and in the United States through Native American missions and Family Life/Campus Crusades. Through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America we support missions such as World Hunger. In the Long Prairie area we assist with the emergency food pantry, nursing home and assisted living worship services, home visitations and communions, LP ministerial projects and an area Grief Support group. An MS Support group also uses our building monthly as a meeting place. Some very special ministry outreach projects of American Lutheran include: * Family and Individual Counseling on request * Radio broadcast of a Sunday worship service each week on KEYL * Thanksgiving food boxes to families or individuals in need. Our missionaries include: Dale & Karen Smith; Ron & Michelle Olson; Dan & Nancy Butkowski; Dwight & Dorothy Hazard.
